Pachuca golea a Al Jazira y es tercer lugar en Mundial de Clubes

Pachuca, que en sus tres anteriores participaciones en Mundiales de Clubes tenía un cuarto puesto como mejor resultado, logró el bronce en la presente edición al derrotar al Al Jazira emiratí por 4-1, este sábado en Abu Dabi.
Los Tuzos, con goles del uruguayo Jonathan Urretaviscaya, del argentino Franco Jara, de Roberto de la Rosa y del chileno Ángelo Sagal, de penal, igualaron el mejor resultado de un equipo mexicano y de la Concacaf en la historia del torneo, tras los terceros puestos de Necaxa (2000), el Saprissa costarricense (2005) y Monterrey (2012) en catorce ediciones.
Pachuca llegará más cansado que Monterrey a la final de la Copa de México, programada para el próximo jueves, después de tres partidos en siete días, dos de ellos con prolongación, y un largo viaje.
Este sábado tuvo su primera ocasión en el minuto 16 cuando Urretaviscaya lanzó un tiro libre al poste y el defensa colombiano Oscar Murillo cabeceó el balón fuera, cuando estaba solo con la portería vacía. Poco después, fue Franco Jara el que cabeceó fuera en buena posición, tras un centro desde la izquierda de Manny García.
En el minuto 30, un disparo cruzado de Angelo Sagal pasó a escasos centímetros de uno de los postes. La apuesta ofensiva de Diego Alonso, con tres delanteros, Jara, Urretaviscaya y Sagal, y rápidas transiciones, permitía a Pachuca llegar en superioridad numérica en sus ataques.
Y de este modo, llegó el primer gol del Pachuca en el minuto 37, en que Jara habilitó en un contragolpe a Urretaviscaya, que ganó por velocidad al defensa Fares Juma y marcó con el interior del pie derecho.
Ambos equipos llegaban muy cansados al partido de consolación. Pachuca disputaba su tercer partido en una semana, dos de ellos con alargue, mientras que para Al Jazira era el cuarto, al haber jugado un play off preliminar, por lo que la segunda parte se hizo muy duro para los dos conjuntos.
Pese a las muchas ocasiones que había tenido en el primer tiempo, Pachuca vio como Al Jazira le empataba en el minuto 57, tras una jugada personal de Romarinho, que envió Khalifan Al Rezzi a la red.
Afortunadamente para Pachuca, la intranquilidad solo duró tres minutos, ya que Jara dio ventaja a los Tuzos en el 60, al culminar un contragolpe, con un remate tras centro desde la izquierda de Sagal.
Roberto de la Rosa, en el 79, apenas un minuto después de haber sustituido a Jara, anotó el tercero en un contragolpe, al quedarse solo ante el portero rival, tras una asistencia de Erick Sánchez.
Con el partido resuelto, un penal cometido a De la Rosa, fue transformado en gol por Sagal en el 84.
